Installing the extension

Go through the following steps to install the extension.

Prepare for installation​

  1. Back up your store's database and web directory.
  2. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of your Magento 2 store.
  3. Copy the installation instructions from the My Downloadable Products page and paste them into the SSH console. Press ENTER to proceed.
tip

To manually install the module in the app/code/ directory, download the archive from My Downloadable Products -> View & Download, unpack it, and copy the contents to Magento's root directory. Then, access your server via SSH, navigate to the Magento 2 root, and follow the installation steps.

Execute the following commands to install​

  1. Run the following command to enable the extension:

    php -f bin/magento module:enable Mirasvit_Core Mirasvit_SeoFilter Mirasvit_Scroll Mirasvit_LayeredNavigation Mirasvit_Brand Mirasvit_AllProducts Mirasvit_QuickNavigation Mirasvit_SeoNavigation Mirasvit_LandingPage Mirasvit_SmartFilter

    If you are using Magento LiveSearch, additionally run:

    php -f bin/magento module:enable Mirasvit_LayeredNavigationLiveSearch

  2. Run the following command to install the extension:

    php -f bin/magento setup:upgrade

  3. Clear the cache:

    php -f bin/magento cache:clean

  4. Deploy static view files:

    rm -rf pub/static/*; rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/*;
    php -f bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

If you are using the Hyvä theme​

Hyvä support is built into the extension. There is no separate compatibility package to install and no extra modules to enable — the storefront blocks switch to their Hyvä rendering on their own when a Hyvä theme is active.

One step is still needed, because the extension's Hyvä markup is the only source of some Tailwind classes, and Tailwind drops any class it does not find while building.

  1. Regenerate Hyvä's module configuration:

    bin/magento hyva:config:generate

    The extension registers its own modules in app/etc/hyva-themes.json during this command, which is what keeps its templates inside Tailwind's source set.

  2. Compile theme assets:

    cd /path/to/theme/web/tailwind/
    npm run build-prod

  3. Deploy static view files:

    cd /path/to/project/
    rm -rf pub/static/*; rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/*;
    php -f bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

  4. Flush the cache:

    bin/magento cache:flush
