IP Geolocation settings

This page describes the IP Geolocation configuration settings located in Stores -> Configuration -> Mirasvit Extensions -> Developer -> IP Geolocation.

These settings are part of the Mirasvit Core module and are shared across all Mirasvit extensions that use geolocation features.

The IP Geolocation section allows you to configure automatic updates for the GeoLite2 database, which is used to determine visitor's country, city, and timezone based on their IP address. A free MaxMind account is required to enable automatic database updates (checked weekly).

• Account ID: your MaxMind account ID. You can find it in your MaxMind account page.
• License Key: your MaxMind license key. You can generate a license key in your MaxMind account settings.

The section also displays additional database information:

• Database status: show the current database status.
• Version: show the version of the database in use.
• Size: show the size of the database in use.
• Update database button: used for manual database updates.
