How to promote the store as an affiliate
The Magento 2 Affiliate program lets you earn commissions by promoting the store through referral links, banners, widgets, or coupons.

Promotion tools available
You will find the promotional tools available under My account - Affiliate - Promotional material. Below find the detailed explanation on each tool.
Referral Link
You will see your Personal Referral Link immediately after joining the affiliate program. To promote specific pages or products, you can enter any URL from this store in the form below to generate a custom referral link.
This is especially useful if the affiliate program is set up to provide commissions only for certain products or pages. Make sure to review the description of the programs you’re enrolled in to understand what qualifies for commission.
Social Sharing AddToAny
This type of promotion is only available if enabled by the store owner. You can find it in your account, just below the personal referral link section.
Additionally, these options may appear directly on product pages, depending on the store’s configuration.
With AddToAny buttons, you can quickly and easily share referral links across popular social media platforms.
Referral Coupons
Referral Coupons are available only if configured by the store owner and used within Pay per Sale programs.
If enabled for your account, please note: these coupons not only provide a discount to the customer but also serve as a way to link the customer to you as the referring affiliate.
In other words, referral coupons work as an alternative to referral links — with the added benefit of offering a discount to the buyer.
Referral Widget
You can customize Referral Widgets yourself using options like Widget Title, Width, Height, and Number of Products to display.
Choose which products to feature — such as Bestsellers, New Products, or specific items using the Search option.
Use the preview to check how the widget will look, then click Get Code to generate the snippet. You can place this code anywhere on your site where you want the widget to appear.
Banners
Banners are managed by the store owner and cannot be customized like widgets. They are created in the admin panel. To use a banner, simply click the Get Code button and place the code on your website.
Tracking & Results
You can easily monitor your affiliate performance through the Transactions and Statistics sections.
Together, these tools help you track your progress and optimize your promotions for better results. More details about these sections can be found below.
Transactions
You can view the full list of your transactions under My Account > Affiliate > Transactions.
This tab provides a detailed Transaction History and displays key figures such as Current Balance, On Hold amounts, Lifetime earnings, and Paid totals.
Statistics
The Statistics tab provides insights such as the number of Clicks, Leads, Orders, Views, and total Earnings. You can filter the data by date range and site.
A grid shows your balance and earnings over time, while a detailed event list below includes the date, program type, referrer, and commission earned.
