Recipients

A Recipient is the target person who will receive the messages sent by a notification.

Navigate to System -> Event Watcher -> Manage Recipients to view the full list of items.

Here, you'll find the following fields:

  • User Name: a unique name of the recipient.
  • Details: short info about configured channels.
  • Actions: available actions for the selected recipients:
    • Edit: allows you to modify the channel.
    • Delete: removes the channel from the list.

Recipient settings

Use the Edit option in the Action column to view details of a specific record. Next recipient settings will be available:

General information

This subsection contains the basic parameters for recipients.

  • Name: unique name of trigger.
  • First name: recipient first name.
  • Last name: recipient last name.

Recipient channels

This subsection allows you to specify the channel details associated with this recipient:

  • Channel: select one of the available channels.
  • Address: specify the channel-specific address. For example:
    • Slack address: Slack channel starting with leading hash: #general.
    • Telegram address: here you should enter the Telegram chat ID: 223151425.
    • Email address: use an email address of the desired recipient: [email protected]
    • Post channel: doesn't require address, left field empty. HTTP requests are sent to the URL defined in the channel configuration.
    • Add new channel button: use to add new address.
  • Action: remove existing channel.
