Tiers
Reward Tiers allow you to split your reward program into multiple levels, with each tier offering different earning and spending rates for customers. Each tier can also have unique benefits defined by Magento conditions, making higher tiers more valuable.
To create a new tier, go to Marketing -> Promotions -> Reward Points -> Tiers and click the Add New button. The tier edit page is divided into two sections:
General information
This section contains the basic details for the tier:
- Name: the name of the tier.
- Is active: defines whether the tier is active or inactive.
- Websites: select the website(s) to which the tier applies.
- Minimum points number to reach the tier: the number of points a customer must earn to qualify for this tier.
The first tier must have the Minimum points number to reach the tier set to 0. This allows customers who don't have points yet to start earning them. If you set the Minimum points number to reach the tier to 100, it can cause issues. Customers who have not yet reached 100 points will be unable to earn points and will not see the potential points they can earn on the catalog and product pages.
- Email template: the template used for the email sent when a customer reaches the tier.
- Logo: an image representing the tier.
