Shipping rates
Gain complete control over your shipping costs by configuring flexible rates that align with your business needs. Each rate can be customized to provide targeted shipping options based on various conditions, ensuring that your customers always receive the best possible shipping offer.
General information
- Internal name: the unique name for the shipping rate that will be visible only to administrators. It helps you distinguish between different shipping rates, especially if you have many in place. Choose a name that clearly reflects the purpose of the rule to make future management easier.
- Active: enable or disable the rate. Activate rates to ensure they are applied when conditions are met, or disable them when they are no longer relevant.
- Priority: define the sort order of the rate. Lower numbers represent higher priority, giving you control over which rates are applied first.
- Stop further rates processing: when enabled, no other rate will be applied once this rate takes effect, ensuring precision in rate application.
- Method: select the shipping method that this rate applies to, ensuring consistency across the board with your delivery strategies.
- Type: choose between two address configuration options:
- Shipping area: define areas in the Stores > Shipping Area section. You can target specific geographic locations for your rates.
- Shipping address: set up rates based on specific address details.
- Address information:
- Country: select the country where this rate will apply.
- State: select the state (either all or a specific one) within the country where the rate applies.
- City: optionally, specify a city for a more granular application of the rate.
- Zip: apply the rate to a particular Zip code, or leave it blank to apply to a broader area.
- Zip From/Zip To: define a range of Zip codes, if needed, for precise rate application.

- QTY from/QTY to: define the quantity of items in the cart for which this rate applies. Only purchases within this range will trigger the rate.
- Subtotal from/Subtotal to: set a subtotal range for the cart to control when the rate is applied. This allows you to offer different rates for varying order sizes.
- Weight from/Weight to: establish weight thresholds for the cart, ensuring that shipping costs scale according to the size of the order.
- Min order amount: define a minimum order value (excluding tax) required for the rate to be applied. This is great for encouraging larger purchases with better shipping options.
- Min order amount (incl. tax): set a minimum order value, including tax, to further refine when the rate is triggered.
