How to
This section provides a collection of practical guides on how to use the Withdrawal Button extension, both on the storefront and in the admin.
📄️ Submit a withdrawal
This guide describes the storefront flow, the one your customers follow. It runs in two steps, as the directive requires: the customer states the intent to withdraw and identifies the order, then confirms on a summary page.
📄️ Process a withdrawal request
All requests are managed under Sales → EU Withdrawal → Withdrawal Requests.
📄️ Customize the email templates
The extension sends four emails: the customer receipt, the admin notification, the approved notification, and the rejected notification. Each one uses a template you can copy and edit.
📄️ Send a test receipt
The extension includes a command-line tool for sending a test receipt email. Use it to check that your sender, template, and mail delivery are working without placing a real order.
📄️ Upgrade the extension
Use these steps to update the extension to the latest version.
📄️ Disable the extension
You can switch the withdrawal function off without removing the module, or disable the module entirely.
