How to create review reminder emails
Advanced Reviews allows you to send customers a reminder to leave a review after they place an order on your site.
To enable reminders, navigate to Review reminder settings and enable the Enable review reminders option.
In the Send reminder for orders with status field, specify the order status (Complete
) at which the extension should send a reminder.
Use the Delay sending reminders (days) and Delay sending reminders (hours) fields to set the delay before the reminder is sent — for example, 2 days.
To prevent reminders from being sent to customers who returned or canceled their orders, select the Cancel
and Closed
statuses in the Cancel reminders for orders with status field.
Select a reminder email template and the sender email address — that’s all you need to start sending reminders.
If you don’t want to send reminders to a specific customer group (or multiple groups), select them in the Do not send reminders for customer groups field.
If needed, you can send copies of reminders as CC or BCC to specified email addresses.
To test reminders, enable Sandbox mode — in this case, all reminders will be sent only to the specified test email address.
