Landing pages

Landing pages are often used to showcase a specific selection of products (dedicated, for example, to events or activities) while adding unique descriptions and images, and setting distinguish configurations for search engines.

This section describes settings for landing pages. They are located in Content -> Landing Pages -> Add landing page/Edit landing page.

  • Active: this slider enables or disables the page.
  • Store view: store views where this page will be displayed.
  • Enable redirect: if enabled, redirects to this landing page when all configured conditions are matched (categories, search term, filters).

    Redirect to the landing page will work when customer's selection matches configurations from Products section:

    • If only Filters set, redirects from All products page when selecting matching Filters and options.
    • If only Categories set, redirects from the appropriate category.
    • If only Search term set, redirects when store search request matches Search term.
    • If Filters and Categories set, redirects when selecting the specified option in the Filter in defined Category.
    • If Filters, Categories and Search term are configured, redirects from the search results page (search request must be the same as a Search term) when matching Filters are chosen and Category selected in a category filter.
  • Name: name of the page.

  • URL key: URL key of the page.
  • Page title: title of the page.
  • Meta title: meta title of the page.
  • Meta description: meta description of the page.
  • Robots meta tags: page visibility for search engine crawlers:
    • NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW
    • NOINDEX, FOLLOW
    • INDEX, NOFOLLOW
    • INDEX, FOLLOW

Content

  • Description: description of this page.
  • Bottom CMS block: selector of content block displayed at the bottom of the page. The option Select block means no block is applied.
  • Top CMS block: selector of content block displayed at the top of the page. The option Select block means no block is applied.
  • Layout update XML: field for custom XML structure to update the layout of the page.

Products

  • Categories: selector of categories which products displayed on the landing page.
  • Search term: search term to show only matching it products.
  • Filters: table with filters and their options used to show only matching them products. Add record button adds a filter.
