How to ensure search works properly
Use steps below to check if extension is configured and work in your store properly.
Required steps to configure the core search options

Check Search engine
Navigate to Search engine configuration section and use the Check the search engine status button to check your engine status. You should see a successful work notification message.

Review Search indexes
Navigate to the Search indexes and review which indexes are enabled, as well as the attributes and additional options used in them.
At least one index must be active and indexed. If you made any changes, be sure to perform a reindex afterward.

Configure query handling and processing
Navigate to the Query handling and processing section and check options for wildcard searches, automatic keyword replacements, and search logic configurations if they match your requirements.

Improve results ranking
Use Products boost rules or Search weight changes to modify items ranking in search results.

Check Autocomplete
Navigate to Search autocomplete section and check which search indexes shown in autocomplete dropdown and which appearance it should have.
In the Autocomplete base configuration section check status for Enable fast mode option. It can speeds up autocomplete search, but increases the indexing time of the search index.
