Our Knowledge Base extension have quite intuitive interface, so it can be used directly from the box.
However, there's some tips, that can help you to build your information bank.
Start with creating proper Category Tree, that will correspond main topics, that you wish to cover. If you have multiple storeviews, develop separate hierarchy for each of it, and put under corresponding Root Categories.
Create a set of Articles, covering each regular question you have.
Tune up displaying of both categories, and articles on the frontend using Settings, which allows you to flexibly change their appearance.
This should be a good beginning.
