Admins with the Widget Configuration permission can customize the Copilot chat widget's appearance and welcome screen directly from inside the chat. Settings are stored on the Copilot server per Magento instance — once saved, every admin that uses Copilot on the same store sees the customized widget.

📄️ Prompts

Prompts are reusable message templates. Instead of retyping the same complex instruction every time, you define it once as a prompt and invoke it with a short slash command. When a prompt is invoked, Copilot sends the pre-built template as the first message of the conversation.

📄️ User Role

The AI Agent Connector extension adds features to the user role edit page at System -> Permissions -> User Roles -> [Role]: badges on the Role Resources tab and a new MCP Info tab.

📄️ Skills

A skill is a focused playbook that tells Copilot how to answer a specific kind of question — running a sales aggregate, looking up documentation, composing a composer require line for an upgrade, summarizing a helpdesk ticket, and so on. Each skill ships with its own instructions and the list of tools it needs.
