How to disable the extension

Using these steps you can disable or remove extension.

Temporarily disable​

To temporarily disable the extension, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of your Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the following command to disable the extension:

    php -f bin/magento module:disable Mirasvit_Gdpr Mirasvit_GdprConsent Mirasvit_GdprCookie

    There is no separate module to disable for Hyvä. Its templates live in Mirasvit_Gdpr, Mirasvit_GdprConsent and Mirasvit_GdprCookie and stay dormant on a Luma store.

  3. Log in to the Magento backend, refresh the store cache (if enabled), and deploy the static view files.

Extension removal​

To uninstall the extension, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of your Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the following command to remove the extension:

    composer remove mirasvit/module-gdpr

    This removes the Hyvä templates with it. From version 1.8.0 they are part of the same package.

  3. Log in to the Magento backend, refresh the store cache (if enabled), and deploy the static view files.
