How to disable the extension

Using these steps you can disable or remove extension.

Temporarily disable​

To temporarily disable the extension, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of your Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the following command to disable the extension:

    php -f bin/magento module:disable Mirasvit_Helpdesk Mirasvit_HelpdeskGraphQl

    Mirasvit_HelpdeskGraphQl provides the GraphQl queries and mutations and ships with the extension. To keep Help Desk MX but switch its GraphQl API off, disable that module alone:

    php -f bin/magento module:disable Mirasvit_HelpdeskGraphQl

    The same commands cover a Hyvä storefront: from version 1.7.0 there is no separate Hyvä module to disable.

  3. Log in to the Magento backend, refresh the store cache (if enabled), and deploy the static view files.

Extension removal​

To uninstall the extension, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of your Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the following command to remove the extension:

    composer remove mirasvit/module-helpdesk

    This removes the Hyvä and GraphQl support with it. From version 1.7.0 they are part of the same package.

  3. Log in to the Magento backend, refresh the store cache (if enabled), and deploy the static view files.
