How to create a 'threshold' and 'milestone' rule?
To award customers with additional points based on their achievements, use either a Cart or Behavior rule. Both types support conditions that allow checking customer properties. Add them to the Conditions tab to create a threshold or milestone rule.
Here are some commonly used conditions:
- To award points only for the first order: Create a Behavior rule using the Customer places order event, and set the condition Number of Orders to 1.
- To award points for a specific X-th order (e.g., 10th): Use the same Number of Orders condition, but set it to 10.
- To award points based on spending a certain number of points: Use the Lifetime Spent Points condition with both lower and upper limits (if needed).
- To award points based on spending a specific amount of money: Use the Lifetime Sales condition with both lower and upper limits (if needed).
