Troubleshooting

Blog content is not visible on Hyvä​

Work through these in order - the first two are the common causes.

  1. The Hyvä theme build does not include Blog MX. Blog pages render with no styling, or widgets show as plain unstyled markup. Check app/etc/hyva-themes.json for entries for mirasvit/module-blog-mx, mirasvit/module-comment and mirasvit/module-vote, then rebuild the theme:

    php -f bin/magento hyva:config:generate
    cd /path/to/theme/web/tailwind/
    npm run build
    cd /path/to/project/
    rm -rf pub/static/*; rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/*;
    php -f bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
    php -f bin/magento cache:clean

    On a theme older than Hyvä 1.4, run npm run build-prod instead of npm run build.

  2. The retired Hyvä package is still installed. Since Blog MX 3.7.0, Hyvä support ships inside the extension. If mirasvit/module-blog-mx-hyva is still installed, its old templates override the new ones. Check with composer show mirasvit/module-blog-mx-hyva, and if it is there, follow How to upgrade extension to remove it.

  3. A post or category edited with Hyvä CMS shows an empty content area. With Enable Hyvä Editor on, the storefront shows only the published Hyvä CMS content. Open the post in the Liveview editor and publish it. To show the regular content again instead, switch Enable Hyvä Editor off and save the post.

  4. The Hyvä CMS content is ignored and the regular content is shown. Check that:

    • the bridge is installed and enabled - php -f bin/magento module:status Mirasvit_HyvaCmsBlogMx. See If you are using Hyvä CMS;
    • Hyvä CMS is enabled, and Enable for blog posts (or Enable for blog categories) is Yes under Stores > Settings > Configuration > Hyvä Commerce > Hyvä CMS > Mirasvit Blog;
    • Enable Hyvä Editor is on for that post or category.

  5. The page still shows old content. Clean the cache: php -f bin/magento cache:clean. If the store uses Varnish or a CDN, purge it there too.
