How to configure the chatbot

The chatbot's appearance and behavior are configured on the EChat platform, not within the Magento admin panel.

Accessing the EChat platform

  1. Navigate to Stores > Configuration > Mirasvit Extensions > Ecommerce Chatbot.
  2. Click the Configure Chat link. This opens the EChat platform in a new browser tab.

What you can configure

On the EChat platform, you can customize:

  • Chat widget appearance — colors, position, size, and branding
  • Greeting messages — the initial message shown to visitors
  • Chatbot behavior — response style, tone, and instructions
  • Conversation settings — how the chatbot handles different types of questions

Changes made on the EChat platform take effect immediately on your storefront — no sync or cache refresh is needed.
