How to disable the extension

Using these steps you can disable or remove extension.

Temporarily disable​

To temporarily disable the extension, please take the following steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of the Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the command below to disable the extension:

    php -f bin/magento module:disable Mirasvit_EChat

  3. Log in to the Magento backend and refresh the store cache (if enabled).

Removing the extension​

To uninstall the extension, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SSH console of your server and navigate to the root directory of the Magento 2 store.

  2. Run the command below to disable the extension:

    php -f bin/magento module:disable Mirasvit_EChat

  3. Run the following command to remove the extension:

    composer remove mirasvit/module-echat

  4. Log in to the Magento backend and refresh the store cache (if enabled).

note

Removing the extension leaves the eChat workspace in place, with its knowledge base and conversation history. To remove it as well, use Reset Registration on the account panel before you uninstall, or delete the workspace from the backend's Workspaces tab.
