Blog author

Go to Content > Blog MX > Authors to view and manage all blog authors. Here, you can edit author profiles, add new authors, and control how they appear on the frontend.

General information​

  • Name: full name of the author, displayed on posts and author pages.

  • Is active (Yes/No): enables or disables the author profile. Inactive authors are not shown on the frontend.

  • Job title: the author’s role or position (e.g., writer, editor).

  • Image: upload a profile photo for the author. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF.

  • Store Views: select which store views this author will be visible on. Use “All Store Views” to show across the entire site.

Biography​

  • Short bio: a brief introduction or summary about the author. Displayed in post previews and widgets.

  • Full bio: a detailed biography shown on the author’s dedicated page.

Social profiles​

Add links to the author's public profiles. These may be displayed on author pages and in widgets.

  • Website URL
  • Facebook URL
  • Twitter URL
  • LinkedIn URL
  • YouTube URL
  • Instagram URL
  • TikTok URL

Search engine optimization​

  • URL key: sets the custom URL path for the author page (e.g., simona-clarke).

  • Meta title: optional SEO title for the author’s page. If empty, the author’s name is used.

  • Meta description: short summary for search engines. Helps improve author page visibility in search results.
