Comments

General Configurations​

All configurations for the Comments extension can be found in:

Stores > Configuration > Mirasvit Extensions > Comments

This section includes general settings that control how the comment system behaves.

  • Enable comments (Yes/No): master switch to enable or disable the comments feature site-wide.
  • Allow guests to write comments (Yes/No): allow users who are not logged in to leave comments on blog posts.
  • Automatically approve comments (Yes/No): if enabled, submitted comments are automatically published without requiring moderation.
  • Date format: sets how the date and time of each comment is displayed. Example: F j, Y → March 10, 2025
  • Enable admin notifications (Yes/No): enables admin panel notifications for new comments that are pending moderation.
