Troubleshooting
This page describes the most common issues that customers report and how they can be resolved.
Meta tags were not changed after applying the SEO template
This issue can happen if the related configuration from the section SEO templates and rewrites -> Use existing meta tags is enabled. In this case the extension will skip overwriting meta tags that already have values.
Wrong templates have been used for products
When you have several templates applied to the same product, you can adjust their priority by setting the Sort Order in the template settings. Additionally, you can use our toolbar to see exactly which template has been applied to the current page.
Some products have URLs like "example.com/catalog/product/view/id/2046/category/34"
This issue occurs when there is no appropriate URL rewrite entry for some products in Magento's native URL rewrites table. To check this, go to Marketing > SEO & Search > URL Rewrites and look for a rewrite related to the affected product. If certain rewrites are missing, you can try regenerating them using a third-party extension designed for URL rewrite regeneration.
Rich snippets warnings related to the "Brand","GTIN","Review" or "AggregateRating"
Warnings related to Reviews
and the AggregateRating
attribute may appear if a product doesn’t have any approved reviews.
Similarly, warnings about Brand
or GTIN
attributes can occur if no attribute code has been specified for them in the Advanced SEO Suite settings.
You can configure these attributes in Marketing -> Settings -> Rich snippets & Opengraph -> Product page.
